The Little Italy Association and its partners, are developing an Italian "Mercato-style" Sunday Farmer's Market, to bring access to fresh food and other fine goods, to families in the City of Rochester's Lyell Avenue corridor, particularly in view of the recent Tops and Wegmans supermarket closings on Lake Avenue and Driving Park.
The Farmer's Market will feature fresh food, fruit, and vegetables, from local farmers, as well as products and goods from select area vendors. There will be live entertainment for both adults and children, food and wine tastings, promotional activities, candy and sweets, fresh bread and pastries, among many other goodies!
Interested local farmers and vendors may contact us via email at: info@LittleItalyROC.com to inquire about vendors spaces, and associated fees and insurance requirements. We look forward to welcoming you, and to helping you showcase your business and its deliciousness to our Sunday Farmer's Market! Open hours will be from 8:00am to 2:00pm, every Sunday, from April to October. Exact location on Lyell to be announced soon!
Visit Rochester's Little Italy Historic District on Sunday mornings, to buy your favorite fruits & vegetables, and other deliciousness! Support local farmers and the revitalization of this great historic neighborhood, while enjoying its cultural flavors and sounds, and its vibrant multi-ethnic charm!
